3. Legal Readiness • Intended parents must be ready to sign a contract and follow the necessary legal procedures, which protect the rights of both the intended parents and the surrogate.
4. Financial Preparedness • Surrogacy requires financial resources (surrogate compensation, medical services, legal support, and organizational assistance). Intended parents should be prepared to cover these costs.
5. Emotional Readiness • It is equally important to be emotionally prepared: surrogacy is a long and responsible process that requires patience and trust.
The payment is divided into four parts: 1. First installment – on the day the contract is signed. 2. Second installment – on the day of the embryo transfer, when the embryo is placed into the surrogate mother’s uterus. 3. Third installment – at the 12th week of pregnancy. 4. Final installment – after delivery, no later than 5 business days following the birth.
